With more than 18,580 confirmed deaths. A virus that was first reported in Wuhan, China on 31st December 2019 has brought the entire world down on its knees.

With global economic hubs under lockdown. Most of the global workforce now “work from home”.

RPATech a young organization that operates its offices across India and Canada is no exception. All of us now work from the comfort of our homes. Collaborating with each other through phone, online collaboration tools, and messaging apps.

Every day begins with a simple group message – “How are you?” Followed with a load of forwarded messages providing a detailed description of COVID-19 symptoms. Most of which are generally incorrect.

This leads us to think, how we can help our teammates to track COVID-19 symptoms. We also wanted our HR managers to track the everyday wellness of our team. And to help team members with COVID-19 symptoms seek immediate medical help.

With some help from our automation team, we developed a bot to track the wellness of our team on a daily basis.

Every day our team receives an email requesting them to fill a simple form. Data collected from the team is shared with the HR team with outliers highlighted for immediate attention.
